Open-Faced Turkey and Brie Sandwich with Pear (or Nectarine)
This is a refreshing lunch idea, served on crusty bread along side a leafy, green salad. I prefer using pears, but nectarines can be tasty if ripe enough.
- 4 slices crusty bread
- 2 tbsp honey mustard
- 3/4 lb deli turkey slices
- 2 pears or nectarines, sliced
- 6 oz brie, sliced thinly
- salt and pepper
- Spread the honey mustard evenly over the bread.
- Top with the turkey, nectarine slices, and brie. Season with ¼ teaspoon each salt and pepper.
