St Maarten, Anguilla, St Barths - 8 Days, 7 Nights
Day 1: ARRIVAL
This trip starts at Simpson Bay Yacht Club, St Maarten, on the Dutch side of the island. Just take your luggage from the belt at the airport and in less than one hour you are already on board the yacht, enjoying the tropics. The afternoon includes a tour of ARAVILLA, a security briefing, and an overview of the week ahead. Tonight is dinner ashore.
Day 2: ROAD BAY, ANGUILLA
After a lovely breakfast on board ARAVILLA we pass the Mega Yachts of the rich and famous, exit the Simpson Bay Lagoon through the draw bridge into the Caribbean Sea and set sail to Anguilla, United Kingdom. ARAVILLA will drop anchor in Road Bay, Anguilla for the night, with its crystal clear water and pearl white beaches. A swim in the evening with great local food ashore ends the perfect Caribbean day.
Day 3: AROUND ANGUILLA
This morning you will have a short sail through the reefs to Prickly Pear Cays, where the snorkeling in the reefs is stunning and the beaches are beautiful. The evening is spent at Prickly Pear Cay or back in Road Bay for the night.
Day 4: MARIGOT & GRAND CASE, FRANCE
Another great sailing day, with full wind in the sails we navigate around Anguilla towards the French Village of Marigot for a lunch stop. Marigot provides French cafes and outdoor markets. A short sail takes you to a great anchorage at Grand Case, France for the night. A sweet village just a few meters away, beach bars, fine French restaurants and street festivals.
Day 5: TINTAMARRE & ANSE COLUMBIER, ST.BARTH’S
After breakfast a short motor to Tintamarre for lunch, a swim or a walk on the uninhabited island. Then off to Anse du Columbier in search of sea turtles and rays. Before sunset there are great hikes you can take through the tropical vegetation to the north side of St. Barth’s or just wander the beach. Anse Colombier is stunning and secluded with a beautiful beach, clear water for swimming and fantastic snorkeling all under the watch of the historic Rockefeller Estate. Tonight dinner is on board.
Day 6: GUSTAVIA, ST BARTHELEMY
Gustavia is the Caribbean playground for the rich and famous. Here you find the shoppers paradise with Prada and Gucci in a tropical setting. Explore this magnificent mountainous island or set yourself on a nice terrace and have lunch while you people watch. Tonight is dinner ashore in any one of the hundreds of fine restaurants.
Day 7: ILE FOURCHUE, PHILIPSBURG, & SIMPSON BAY
It may be the last sailing day over the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, but the best is still to come. En-route to Simpson Bay the lunch hour stop in Ile Fourche can’t be missed. This afternoon we anchor in the marine park, snorkel, swim and hike the mountains. A quick stop in Philipsburg is always a fun few hours for the shoppers and people watching. A trip to paradise en-route to Simpson Bay.
Day 8: DEPARTURE
After a tropical breakfast you say goodbye to the skipper and your Caribbean vacation, rejuvenated and rested for your flight back home.
