Open-Faced Turkey and Brie Sandwich with Pear (or Nectarine)

This is a refreshing lunch idea, served on crusty bread along side a leafy, green salad. I prefer using pears, but nectarines can be tasty if ripe enough.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices crusty bread
  • 2 tbsp honey mustard
  • 3/4 lb deli turkey slices
  • 2 pears or nectarines, sliced
  • 6 oz brie, sliced thinly
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Spread the honey mustard evenly over the bread.
  • Top with the turkey, nectarine slices, and brie. Season with ΒΌ teaspoon each salt and pepper.
